This is a general note. 

When Gamemaster started, we hex edited IP addresses into executables.

Later, when IPs changed, the domain names were changed from gamespy domains to GameShare domains.

If you want to test the new master server, be sure to revert to your original exe file and use the hosts file method for now.


(You can make your own IP edited exe if you want, but please don't distribute it, as we want to do this in the best and most organized way possible.)



Soon, we hope to create new domains and distribute new executables.

I've just tried it and it didnt work for me... does anyone have the same issue

^ Same problem here, tested using SWBF1 and it couldn't find any servers.

EDIT: No luck with SWBF2 either. Maybe I'm not doing it right?

Same for me, I tested with anyder.

Oldsnake was on the servers with me this morning.  Be sure to revert back to the original exe file.  I will check to make sure the game servers are running.  They crashed last night....

It appears that the new master server is down.  JK will be back in a couple of days and we will sort it out.
