Supported email domains?

Thanks to Yahoo's total incompetence with handling spam attacks, I've decided to retire my Yahoo account entirely in the near future. I will need to change my associated email address here. I primarily use my GMail account but I remember the last time I tried to change that, I was locked out because this site isn't okay with GMail. My other account is a Hotmail account. Is that a viable alternative?

Hmmm.  Maybe try gmail.  I can manually activate your account if needed.

Looks like it is some sort of issue between this site and gmail as another person who has just signed up has contacted me to say they're not getting their activation email.

AFAIK they're all being manually approved by admins
